This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") governs the cancellation, refund, and return-related terms applicable to users of the LiveBazaar platform ("Platform"), operated by HLBR Digital Commerce Private Limited.

This Policy applies to:

  • Consumers (end users purchasing products or services)
  • Business Users (sellers and service providers using the platform)

Riders are employees of LiveBazaar and are governed by separate internal contracts; therefore, this Policy does not apply to riders.

1. Definitions

  • "Platform": LiveBazaar mobile application and website.
  • "Consumer": Any user purchasing products or services through the Platform.
  • "Business User": Any seller or service provider listing products, services, or subscribing to platform features.
  • "Product": A physical or digital item listed on LiveBazaar.
  • "Service": Any service offered by a Business User, including subscription-based service packages.
  • "Platform Subscription": A subscription purchased by a Business User for logistical services, platform tools, or business enablement features offered by LiveBazaar.
  • "Service Subscription": A subscription purchased by a Consumer for a service package created and offered by a Business User.

2. Consumer Orders – Products

2.1 Cancellation by Consumer

  • Orders may be cancelled before dispatch or before service initiation, as applicable.
  • Once an order is dispatched or a service has commenced, cancellation may not be possible.

2.2 Refund Eligibility

Refunds for products are applicable only in the following cases:

  • Wrong product delivered
  • Damaged product at the time of delivery
  • Product missing or incomplete
  • Product not matching the description

Refunds are not applicable for:

  • Buyer's change of mind
  • Incorrect order placed by the Consumer
  • Minor packaging damage that does not affect product usability

2.3 Refund Process

  • Refund requests must be raised through the app within the specified time window shown at checkout.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, subject to bank/payment gateway timelines.

3. Consumer Orders – Services

3.1 One-Time Services

  • Cancellations are allowed only before service commencement.
  • Once the service has started or is delivered, refunds are not applicable.

3.2 Service Subscriptions (Created by Business Users)

  • Refunds for service subscriptions depend on the refund policy defined by the respective Business User, which is displayed at the time of subscription.
  • LiveBazaar acts as a facilitation platform and does not guarantee refunds unless explicitly stated.

3.3 Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • Partial usage of a service subscription
  • Failure to avail the service due to consumer unavailability
  • Dissatisfaction not arising from service non-delivery

4. Business Users – Platform Subscriptions

Business Users may subscribe to LiveBazaar's logistical services, platform tools, or business enablement plans.

4.1 Cancellation

  • Platform subscriptions can be cancelled anytime.
  • Cancellation will stop future renewals but does not entitle the Business User to a refund for the current billing cycle.

4.2 Refund Policy

Platform subscriptions are non-refundable, except in cases of:

  • Duplicate payment
  • Technical error directly attributable to LiveBazaar

Approved refunds, if any, will be processed within 7–14 business days.

5. Failed Transactions & Duplicate Payments

If a payment is deducted but:

  • the order is not confirmed, or
  • the subscription is not activated,

the amount will be automatically refunded within the standard banking timelines.

6. Delivery-Related Issues

Since delivery is handled by LiveBazaar's in-house riders, refund decisions for delivery-related complaints will be assessed internally and resolved fairly based on:

  • delivery confirmation,
  • proof of issue,
  • platform records.

7. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between a Consumer and a Business User:

  • LiveBazaar may assist as a mediator,
  • but does not guarantee refunds unless the Platform is at fault.

LiveBazaar reserves the right to make the final decision in platform-related disputes.

8. Policy Updates

LiveBazaar reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time.

Updated versions will be published on the Platform and are effective immediately upon posting.
